Summary of POP email settings

This could lead to loss of emails.The below steps are ONLY for setting up a brand new POP email account.
For our clients who are using our POP service for their email, Setting your email account up on your iPhone or iPad is available as a reliable option when traveling, or any other times that you cannot access your usual email program.
From the home screen of your iPhone/iPad, press the Settings Icon
Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars

Under the Accounts section select Add Account

On the Add Account page select Other

Under the Mail section, select Add Mail Account

On the New Account screen, complete the following details:
Your Name: The full name of the person whose account it is (ie. John Smith)
Address: (ie. john@johnsplumbing.com.au)
Password: Enter the password you were provided
Description: Any text description. eg Johns Plumbing

Press [Save] The device may attempt to automatically retrieve the server settings. If it fails, continue following the steps below to configure your iPhone/iPad manually
On the New Account select POP Scroll down the screen and complete the corresponding information.

Incoming Mail Server Host Name: Enter pop.partnerconsole.net
Username: (ie. john@johnsplumbing.com.au)
Password: Enter the password you were provided

Outgoing Mail Server Host Name: Enter smtp.partnerconsole.net
Username: (ie. john@johnsplumbing.com.au)
Password: Enter the password you were provided
Verification Scroll back to the top of the screen and press [Save]. Your device will now attempt to verify all the settings you’ve entered. You’ll need to wait for it to do this. Note: You may be given a warning that your device cannot connect via SSL or that it cannot be verified

Click continue.

Click Yes.
From the home screen of your iPhone/iPad, press the Settings Icon.
Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
The email account you just created will be displayed in the Accounts section.
Select the email account you just created

Scroll down to the Outgoing Mail Server section and press SMTP

If only using your email services with us on your device, your primary server should be smtp.partnerconsole.net

Modify the following information if not already completed:
SSL: Off.
Authentication: Password.
Server Port: 587

Press Done
To modify your incoming mail server settings, go back to the mail email account page and press Advanced rather than SMTP
Modify the following information if not already completed:
SSL: Off.
Authentication: Password.
Server Port: 110.

From this screen, you may also allow your device to delete emails off of our servers when it downloads them or set them to delete after a set period of time. * We suggest you set your phone settings as displayed above.
You’re now complete. Test by sending an email to and from the account.
**These steps and screen grabs were done using a current device. Other versions may have slightly different steps and processes.
Occasionally clients experience troubles with outgoing POP emails. This is generally due to their ISP (Internet Service Providers) and need to adjust the outgoing mail settings.
Some common ISP Outgoing Mail Servers are as follows – typically your username for these servers is your email account (i.e. yourname@isp.com) and associated password:
BigPond: mail.bigpond.com
Optus: mail.optusnet.com.au
iiNet: mail.iinet.net.au or mail.m.iinet.net.au
Westnet: mail.westnet.com.au
TPG: mail.tpg.com.au
Ozemail: smtp.ozemail.com.au
